Flirting Tips For Girls and Guys

Flirting is that special way one person acts to show another person that he or she is sexually or romantically interested or attracted. It may be expressed by body language, eye contact, tone of voice, touch, or a combination of any of these behaviors. Flirting is often playful in nature and may be very subtle at times and very obvious at other times. There is an art to effective flirting, and the best—and most fun—way to get better at it is to practice a lot, after studying these tips.

1. Smiling is the most powerful flirting tool available. Everyone loves to see a pleasant, happy face, and a smile sends all the right messages.

2. Playful touches are a low-key way to flirt without being overtly sexual. A playful punch or poke, messing up his hair, or playing with her jewelry are fun ways to get close without going overboard.

3. Eye contact is essential when flirting. But don’t overdo it—some people are not comfortable maintaining eye contact for long periods of time. Just use it for long enough to let the person know they’ve got your attention.

4. Show interest by asking questions and listening. It’s flattering to have someone show a genuine interest in your opinions, likes, dislikes, and experiences.

5. Friendly competition can set off sexual sparks. Challenge that guy or girl who’s caught your interest to a game of pool, a race around the track, or even a wager on which team will win the next championship in their favorite sport.

6. Keep your body language smooth and open when flirting. Don’t tense up and cross your arms or hunch over like you’re enduring a blast of cold air. Lean toward the person you’re flirting with and imitate their body language in a subtle way.

7. Don’t take flirting too seriously. Do it for the fun of it. If your expectations are too high, and you’re holding your breath waiting for him to ask for your number, you won’t come across as confident, and the flirting will not be as fun for either party.

8. Everyone loves to get compliments, and compliments are a great way to flirt. Only give compliments that are genuine, and don’t get too personal.

9. If someone responds negatively to your flirting, ignoring you or rejecting you outright, walk away gracefully. Don’t be obnoxious and persist, thinking they are just playing hard to get.

10. If someone flirts with you and you are not interested, be polite. It’s not necessary to insult the person—just make it clear that you are not interested by making an excuse and walking away.

11. Don’t flirt with someone you are not really interested in dating. It’s not fair to lead someone on, only to inevitably dash their hopes later.

12. Clues that someone is flirting with you include: increased eye contact, preening behavior such as straightening their clothes or touching their hair, singling you out for conversation, standing or sitting close to you, or touching you.

13. Some places are more appropriate to flirt than others. Parties, nightclubs, informal get-togethers, and online dating sites are ideal places to flirt, while flirting at funerals, church services, and workplaces is not appropriate.

14. Making crude or sexual comments, inappropriate touching, comments about someone’s body, and unwelcome passes are not flirtatious. At best, they will send the person you are attracted to running in the other direction. At worst, they will be considered sexual harassment.

15. Go slowly when flirting and watch to see if the other person seems interested in you. Watch their body language and see if they send signals that they are interested. If they do, consider moving things to the next level by asking them out on a date.

Singulair Uses, Dosage – Side Effects #chatrooms

What is Singulair?

Singulair (montelukast) is a leukotriene (loo-koe-TRY-een) inhibitor. Leukotrienes are chemicals your body releases when you breathe in an allergen (such as pollen). These chemicals cause swelling in your lungs and tightening of the muscles around your airways, which can result in asthma symptoms.

Singulair is used to prevent asthma attacks in adults and children as young as 12 months old. Singulair is also used to prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm in adults and children who are at least 6 years old.

Singulair is also used to treat symptoms of year-round (perennial) allergies in adults and children who are at least 6 months old. It is also used to treat symptoms of seasonal allergies in adults and children who are at least 2 years old.

Do not give this medicine to a child without a doctor’s advice.

Singulair is also used to prevent exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (narrowing of the air passages in the lungs) in adults and teenagers who are at least 15 years old and are not already taking this medicine for other conditions.

If you already take Singulair to prevent asthma or allergy symptoms, do not use an extra dose to treat exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.

Important information

Singulair will not work fast enough to treat an asthma attack that has already begun. Use only a fast-acting inhalation medicine to treat an asthma attack. Talk with your doctor if any of your asthma medications do not seem to work as well in treating or preventing attacks.

Call your doctor right away if you feel that this medicine is not working as well as usual, or if it makes your condition worse. If it seems like you need to use more of any of your medications in a 24-hour period, talk with your doctor.

If you already take Singulair to prevent asthma or allergy symptoms, do not use it for exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.

Call your doctor at once if you have any mood or behavior changes, anxiety, depression, or thoughts about suicide or hurting yourself.

Follow all directions on your medicine label and package. Tell each of your healthcare providers about all your medical conditions, allergies, and all medicines you use.

It may take up to several weeks before your symptoms improve. Keep using Singulair as directed and tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after several weeks of treatment.

Before taking this medicine

You should not use Singulair if you are allergic to montelukast.

To make sure Singulair is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have:

asthma, or a history of severe allergic reaction to aspirin.

The chewable tablet may contain phenylalanine. Talk to your doctor before using this form of montelukast if you have phenylketonuria (PKU).

Singulair is not expected to be harmful to an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment.

It is not known whether montelukast passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.

How should I take Singulair?

Take Singulair exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Follow all directions on your prescription label. Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.

Singulair is usually taken once daily in the evening for prevention of asthma or allergy symptoms. For exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, take a single dose at least 2 hours before you exercise, and do not take another dose for at least 24 hours. Follow your doctor’s instructions.

Singulair is not a rescue medicine. It will not work fast enough to treat an asthma attack. Use only a fast acting inhalation medicine for an asthma attack. Tell your doctor if it seems like your asthma medications don’t work as well.

Swallow the regular tablet whole, with a glass of water.

The Singulair chewable tablet must be chewed completely before you swallow it.

The oral granules can be placed directly into the mouth and swallowed, or mixed with a spoonful of applesauce, mashed carrots, rice, or ice cream. Oral granules can also be mixed with 1 teaspoon of baby formula or breast milk. Do not use any other type of liquid for mixing the granules. Other liquids can be taken before or after taking the medicine.

After opening or mixing the oral granules, you must use them within 15 minutes. Do not save an open packet or mixed medicine for later use.

It may take up to several weeks before your symptoms improve. Keep using Singulair as directed and tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after several weeks of treatment.

If you also take a steroid asthma medicine, do not stop using it suddenly without first talking to your doctor. You may need to use less and less before you stop the medication completely.

Asthma is usually treated with a combination of drugs. Use all medications as directed by your doctor. Read the medication guide or patient instructions provided with each medication. Do not change your doses or medication schedule without your doctor’s advice, even if you have no asthma symptoms.

Store Singulair at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Do not open a packet of oral granules until you are ready to use the medicine.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

What happens if I overdose?

Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222.

What should I avoid while taking Singulair?

Avoid situations or activities that may trigger an asthma attack.

If your asthma symptoms get worse when you take aspirin, avoid taking aspirin or other NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) while you are taking Singulair. NSAIDs include ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), naproxen (Aleve), celecoxib, diclofenac, indomethacin, meloxicam, and others.

Singulair side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction to Singulair: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Call your doctor at once if you have:

unusual changes in mood or behavior;

skin rash, bruising, severe tingling, numbness, pain, muscle weakness;

ear pain, swelling, or warmth; or

severe skin reaction–fever, sore throat, swelling in your face or tongue, burning in your eyes, skin pain, followed by a red or purple skin rash that spreads (especially in the face or upper body) and causes blistering and peeling.

Common Singulair side effects may include:

stomach pain, diarrhea;

fever or other flu symptoms;

cold symptoms such as stuffy nose, sinus pain, cough, sore throat;

bed-wetting or loss of bladder control in children.

This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may report side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.

What other drugs will affect Singulair?

Other drugs may interact with montelukast, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products. Tell each of your health care providers about all medicines you use now and any medicine you start or stop using.

Thunder s Kyle Singler: Has scored 32 points over last two games

by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Singler produced 15 points (5-8 FG, 5-6 3Pt), six rebounds and one assist across 29 minutes in Thursday’s 110-94 preseason loss to the Grizzlies.

Singler has looked stellar while starting the last two games in place of an injured Andre Roberson (knee), producing 32 total points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field and 9-of-12 shooting from beyond the arc. His career 37 percent mark from long distance suggests that Singler’s scoring will regress in swift fashion, but if nothing else, his two quality games in a row have put him in the driver’s seat to serve as the top backup to Roberson when the regular season opens.

Thunder s Kyle Singler: Nets 17 points while starting in loss

by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Singler tallied 17 points (5-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 31 minutes in Tuesday’s 114-109 preseason loss to the Mavericks.

Coach Billy Donovan handed Singler the start at small forward with Andre Roberson sitting out Tuesday’s matchup with a sore knee, and the veteran responded with perhaps his best performance in a Thunder uniform. That speaks to just how miserable Singler has been in his one-plus seasons with the Oklahoma City, as he was largely excluded from the rotation in the postseason last spring after averaging 3.4 points on 38.9 percent shooting from the floor and 30.9 percent shooting from distance during the 2015-16 campaign. While Victor Oladipo will aim to cover most of the offensive void left by Kevin Durant’s departure this offseason, the Thunder will turn to a ragtag collection of players to man all the minutes at small forward. The defensive-minded Roberson leads the way, leaving Singler to duke it out with Anthony Morrow and Alex Abrines for whatever playing time is left over. Both Morrow and Abrines profile as superior shooting options, so Singler may need to exhibit some strengths in other areas if he hopes to hold down a rotation spot.

Thunder s Kyle Singler: Active for Game 6, but doesn t play

by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Singler didn’t play in Thursday’s series-clinching 113-99 Game 6 win over the Spurs in a coach’s decision.

Singler was inactive for Tuesday’s Game 5 due to an illness, but it appears he’s since returned to full health and simply didn’t get off the bench Thursday because he isn’t a member of coach Billy Donovan’s rotation. The forward has appeared in just three of the Thunder ‘s 11 postseason contests.

Thunder s Kyle Singler: Out with illness Tuesday

by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Kyle Singler will not play in Tuesday’s Game 5 against the Spurs because of an illness, Anthony Slater of the Oklahoman reports.

Singler saw 12 minutes of action during Game 1 against the Spurs, but hasn’t touched the court since, so his absence shouldn’t affect coach Billy Donovan’s regular rotation. Singler is dealing with the stomach flu and will sit out Tuesday, however, it isn’t likely to keep him sidelined for an extended period of time. He’ll have two days off before Game 6 on Thursday.

Thunder s Kyle Singler: Out of rotation last three games of series

by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Kyle Singler (coach’s decision) didn’t play in Monday’s Game 5 win over the Mavericks.

Coach Billy Donovan tightened his rotation over the last three games of the series, as Singler failed to leave the pine for any of those contests. That figures to remain the case heading into the Oklahoma City Thunder ‘s second-round matchup with the Spurs, when Donovan will likely be forced to lean on his starters even more heavily than he did against the Mavericks.

Flirting Tips!

There’s nothing more exciting than coming face-to-face with a guy you like. Sometimes, though, in your attempt to get his attention, you end up saying and doing things that are so not you. (Like, are you really interested in the diameter of his new rims?) But there are ways to catch a guy’s eye without losing your cool. The key is to do small things that leave a big impression (and keep your feelings safe!). Follow these tips and you’ll be a master flirt in no time. But be warned: Side effects of these moves may include extreme heart palpitations and dizziness from scoring a kiss!

Just like you, guys get nervous about talking to a girl they like especially if they think she’s unavailable or, worse, uninterested. So if you’re into a guy, give him a sign (and let him know you won’t laugh in his face) by making eye contact and flashing him a “go ahead, make your move” smile!

“Last year, I asked a girl out after I noticed the way she was looking at me across a room. It started off with our eyes meeting she’d smile and not turn her head away. I walked over to talk to her, we hit it off, and I invited her out later that night.” Bobby, 18, Woodbridge, NJ

You know how fired up you get when you lose a round of Guitar Hero? Well, guys’ “I will not be defeated!” spirit can be even stronger. So get your crush’s competitive juices flowing by taking him on in a little one-on-one. Whether you win or lose, you’ll still be a champ in his eyes!

“I got a crush on a girl I was friends with after we played soccer together. She’s supersweet, so seeing her try to kick my butt on the field got me to look at her in a completely different way. After that, I couldn’t resist asking her out.” Mark, 22, New York, NY

Guys love the thrill of chasing what they think they can’t have. So let him wonder what you’re up to sometimes. Treat the amount of time you give him like cell phone minutes: Use sparingly at first and he’ll want more, more, more!

“My first year at New York University, I texted this girl to see if she wanted to hang out. She didn’t write back until the next day! Having to chase her down made me want to pursue her more. And when we finally did end up going out, I felt like I’d accomplished something big.” Robin, 18, Fairfax, VA

In elementary school, a guy with a crush was a pigtail’s worst nightmare. Now that you understand what his motives were then, it’s time for payback. Reach out to him with a childish punch or noogie and his inner 6-year-old will be forced to respond!

“I asked one girl out because she’d always do playful, innocent things. Like, when I’d pass her in the hallway she’d give me a high five or a little shove. I liked that because it showed me that she noticed me and that she’d be easy to hang out with. I could never pass up a girl like that!” Daniel, 20, St. Cloud, MN

CONCERTS: He’s in a feel-good groove. And since you like the same music, he’s likely to groove with you !

GAS STATIONS: Filling up is boring. Pass time by trying move #1 (eye contact!) on the guy two pumps over!

VOLUNTEERING: With all the great karma that comes from doing good, you’re sure to make a connection.

AMUSEMENT PARKS: Go in a group with an odd number then ask a hot guy to sit with you on the Python!

WAITING IN LINE: You’re both at the mercy of the slow barista at Starbucks. Why not talk about it?

Flirting Tips for Guys – The Art of Charm #desi #dating

Flirting Tips for Guys

Flirting is an incredibly fast and powerful way to attract a woman. Many men struggle with it, not realizing that a few simple flirting tips for guys can dramatically increase any man’s ability to flirt successfully. If you’re interested in mastering flirting, here are some flirting tips for guys that you can use to attract women wherever you go.

Using touch to flirt with a girl

Perhaps the most powerful way to flirt with a girl is with touch. The key to flirting through touch is start with quick, playful taps. From there, gradually increase the duration of your touch while making it more intimate.

For example, if you are flirting with a girl you just met, a good way to start flirting through touch is to use the back of your hand and simply tap her around the upper elbow. From there, take small steps forward with your touch. Use the inside of your hand and touch her upper arm, shoulder, back, and maybe work in some one-armed side-hugs. As you go along, you can gradually increase the duration of each touch.

Gradual escalation like this does a couple things that will help you attract women. First, it gets the girl comfortable being physical with you without her feeling overwhelmed. Second, touching her shows you’re comfortable with her, and subtly shows the girl you’re interested. Third, by not letting your hand linger for too long when you touch her, you show that you’re in control and you end up leaving her wanting more – which will have her chasing you in no time. (for more on how to turn a girl on with touch, check out the Pickup Podcast Interview with Vin DiCarlo )

How to playfully flirt with a girl

Think of flirting as a game. If you make the game too easy for the girl, she’ll get bored and won’t want to play. So to get the girl interested, you can use a flirting technique called “push-pull”. This means to show her a little bit of interest – but then playfully push her away.

For example, when talking to a girl you just met you could say something like “you’re totally awesome… you’re like my little sister”. The first half of that sentence lets the girl know that you’re interested in her. But in the second half you throw her through a bit of a loop. She’s not quite sure what to make of that interest since most guys don’t date girls that remind them of their little sister. By keeping her guessing and adding that bit of uncertainty, you’ll be able to keep her engaged (for more on push-pull and for further examples on how to playfully flirt with a girl, check out episode 8 of Pickup Podcast on playful teasing).

Make flirting a natural behavior

Becoming a natural flirt is less about mastering the right words and actions and has more to do with getting the right mindset. Once you have the proper frame of mind for flirting, you’ll find the right words and actions flow effortlessly.

The right mindset then, is simple. Assume that the woman you’re talking to is already attracted to you. Assume she wants you and is trying to get with you. See yourself as the perfect 10 out there, and that the best thing that can happen to her is to get your number, go on a date with you, or go home with you.

Now, don’t confuse this mindset with thinking you need to be arrogant. It’s simply about seeing yourself as the desirable, high-value guy women desire. From there, as always, you want to have fun and enjoy the idea that women are naturally attracted to you. That fun, positive attitude along with the assumption that girl’s want you will help you to naturally flirt with women.

For some inspiration, here’s an example of the flirty things to say to a girl that come from that mindset:

Her: “Want to get another drink?”

Him: “Oh I see, you’re trying to get me drunk and take advantage of me ;)”

How to flirt with a girl immediately

One of the easiest ways to start flirting with a girl is to simply give the girl you’re talking to a nickname. Using a nickname not only makes things light and playful, it also gets things a bit more personal. We tend to use nicknames with people we like and feel comfortable around, so it’s a great way to establish comfort and have some fun right off the bat.

The best nicknames for a girl are going to be the ones that are personalized to her. So while you could run around using the same default nickname with each girl (“muffin” or “troublemaker” generally work just fine) don’t be afraid to experiment. Use whatever nickname strikes you at the moment. Just keep it positive and have fun with it and you’ll be able to get women smiling right away.

Flirting with confidence

As helpful as flirting tips for guys are, all these techniques and mindsets won’t do much if you can’t show confidence when flirting. And no matter what flirting technique you use on a girl (touching, flirty banter, etc) the way to flirt with confidence is to have the right body language.

So when flirting with a girl, you want to lean back and show her that you’re relaxed and comfortable. Avoid fidgeting and “pecking” (constantly leaning toward and away from the woman your talking to, which makes a guy look like a bird pecking at food). Instead keep your body movements calm and controlled. Strong body language will help you look and feel more confident, which is going to make your flirting much more effective.

Kyle Singler attempts a three-foot jumper but is blocked by Hollis Thompson.

Things will heat up quickly for the Thunder on their 2016-17 schedule, with a showdown against Kevin Durant and the Warriors set for Nov. 3 at Oracle.

The Thunder have been making calls around the NBA seeking to clear salary-cap space in a move some executives say is aimed at landing Al Horford in addition to Kevin Durant, sources say.

Thunder coach Billy Donovan rested Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka in Tuesday’s loss to Detroit, the second game of a back-to-back. The Thunder played the Raptors on Monday night.

Detroit point guard Reggie Jackson showed Brooklyn what it missed out on at the last trade deadline by leading the Pistons past the Nets.

Even though Oklahoma City has two historically great teams in its conference, don’t think the Thunder are dead and buried.

Part of the Thunder’s grand plan has been to create a deeper team around Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. On Friday, that plan was on full display.

Thunder guard Andre Roberson will miss approximately three weeks with a sprained right knee, the team announced Monday.

Don’t dwell on the final two looks when wondering how the Thunder lost this one. There were smaller things at work, things this team need to address.

    The 10 Dating Commandments

Thou Shalt Act like a Lady This means being polite and follow common laws of etiquette such as saying “please,” “thank you,” and “excuse me.” Do not cuss. Men admire, trust and respect women with good manners. This includes not chasing him by calling or emailing him excessively. Remember, however, that for you to be a lady, he must be a gentleman. A gentleman will ask you for a weekend date by Wednesday. If he asks you out for the weekend on Thursday or later, the ladylike thing to do is to schedule no more than Sunday brunch with him. Or if he really needs to be taught a lesson, schedule a Monday night dinner. A lady will not allow a gentleman to make last minute plans, even if he tells her he loves a spontaneous girl. If you accept out of eagerness, he will feel you are too easy, and will move on to someone who makes him work harder.

Thou Shalt Honor Thy Dating Commitments When a man calls you, he will offer you dinner, but you have the right to reduce the date to drinks, lunch, brunch, coffee, etc. However, If you suggest less than dinner, that sends the clear message that you are auditioning him and you don’t have time to share an entire meal with him.
