As I learned more about the problem through my studies, I realized the impact of Internet addiction on children and families. Internet addiction is a ompulsive disorder that can impact almost anyone and those who suffer from depression, anxiety, relationships problems, and other addictions are most at-risk.

Some families prefer to look at how they can help a loved one break the denial of smartphone and Internet addiction. Some family members have tried to find local help but therapists often do not know how to treat Internet addiction. In some cases, families have tried to help a husband or son manage their time online but this person keeps justifying their own use. Respiratory Care Therapist AAS

Overview


Summary

The course of study for a respiratory therapist is a 66 credit-hour (six semesters) associate of applied science degree program. The respiratory care program prepares graduates for the credentialing examinations from the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care). The respiratory care program prepares graduates to be competent in delivery of therapeutic procedures in acute care settings, in performing diagnostic procedures, and in performing rehabilitation therapeutic procedures.

The respiratory care program also prepares graduates to assist physicians in the diagnosis of cardiopulmonary disorders, to provide emergency cardiopulmonary care in the emergency room, and to implement therapist driven protocols in the practice of respiratory care. Many clinical facilities will require students to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

Areas for employment of respiratory care professionals include acute care hospitals, sub-acute care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, hyperbaric medicine, home care facilities, and physician offices.

General Guidelines

Upon acceptance into the program, students must submit a record of current immunizations required by the Texas Department of Health. Criminal background checks may be required by clinical facilities. The background check will be processed through the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). Completion of the respiratory care program does not guarantee eligibility to take the CRT exam administered by the NBRC or certification by the Texas Department of Health.

The Texas Department of Health Respiratory Care Certification will consider individuals with histories of convictions, mental illness and/or chemical dependency on an individual basis after review.

Scheduling

Clinical/Practicum courses in the 2 nd year of the AAS Program are twelve hours and may be scheduled 7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am at the discretion of the Program.

For the Evening Program the lecture/lab classes are scheduled 5:00pm-10:00pm initially M-TH, but the clinic/practicum courses are either 7:00am-3:00pm or 3:00pm-11:00pm in the first year one day a week.

Semesters 4 and 5 are 7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm�7:00am one day a week, and two days a week in Semester 6 from 7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm�7:00am, at the program�s discretion.

Program Accreditation

The respiratory care program prepares graduates for the credentialing examinations from the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care). The Facility

Enter our modern 26,900-square-foot campus and prepare to change your life. Welcome to Dr Gily’s ICD-10 Codes Lookup, Crosswalk and Training

This site is a project intended for healthcare providers, medical coders and billing specialists, with a focus on outpatient primary care. It provides tools for searching ICD-10 CM and ICD-10 PCS codes. ICD-9 to ICD-10 crosswalk / translation tools and tutorials on ICD-10 coding in the outpatient setting. We are also working on finishing an ICD-10 browsing tool as well as a dedicated smartphone app for both Android and iOs (iPhone).

Who is Dr. Gily?

Dr. Gily Ionescu is an Internal Medicine physician practicing in the state of Washington. Frustrated by the cumbersome, antiquated diagnosis codes search tools provided by most EHR systems he used over the last decade or so, Dr. Ionescu developed an ICD-9-CM and PCS codes search tool in 2010. This is the ICD-10-CM and PCS version of his medical diagnosis lookup tool.

Dr. Ionescu has another site for the general public, DrGily.com. offering s a variety of health education and weight loss tools.
